ROV Underwater Game Maneuvering - Olympic Pool

Maneuvering

• Collect all the Gates from the pool

Game

• Place in stacks

Lane Referees

• Get a runner to move the gates to the trailer/truck

and

Swimmers

• SET UP Collaboration Game: All of the Collaboration Game Pieces will be on the Diving Board side of the pool

• Bring to each lane:

1. one disc with A / B / C / D on the top and the attached “t-bars”

2. two discs that are plain yellow and their attached “t-bars”

3. two game pieces with questions

4. 5 game pieces of two different colors

Recovery

1. Collect all the buckets from the pool

Game

• Place in three stacks

Lane Referees

2. Collect all the rings from the pool

and

• Place in color of rings in a separate container for rings

Swimmers

3. Collect all the bricks from the pool

• Place in three stacks of buckets

4. Put all of the game supplies along the wall on the far side of the pool by the loading dock door.

5. Move the Recovery Game Supplies into the trailer/truck

Judged Awards

• Join all the judges in your category and determine the first place, second place and third place winners for each category. (1) Innovative Design (2) SEAPerch Notebook (3) Research (4) TShirts

• All 4 different Judge Teams come together to discuss the winners. Do we have distribution of winners. Make your final selections for first place, second place and third place winners for each category. (1) Innovative Design (2) SEAPerch Notebook (3) Research (4) TShirts

• Write what you would like to be said about each recipient.  Keep it short as we need to get through all awards in ‘record time’. Make sure you have a write up that can be read by an announcer.  We will have a computer and printer set up for typing.

• Return SEAPerch Notebooks to “Check In” table in the lobby

After Awards

• Collect all the Discs and Game Pieces from the pool

• Place discs in stacks

• Place small game pieces in container / boxes

• Get a runner to move the gates to the trailer/truck
